Our Monthly Sleepover

WOW! It's been a while since I wrote anything. That means a lot has happened. I will fill you in a bit. David and I are wanting to start a monthly sleepover with our grandkids. They have to be 3 is the only requirement - right now. Here are some pictures from our first night with Kylee and Kaja.

Here's David reading a book to the girls before bedtime. "SIR KEVIN OF DEVON' is their favorite. We gave them new books for Christmas, and they always come back to Sir Kevin.
Of course we have to have game time. We played, or tried to play, CandyLand. The girls usually last one or two turns each. Tonight they lasted a full game. Well, kind of. Kaja kept pulling the cards that moved her right to the finish.

Kylee got to our place in time for dinner and she helped me make bisquits for the stew.
After the girls got to bed and had a story read to them and said their prayers, they decided they were still hungry. So we went back downstairs and had cookies, and of course with cookies, comes milk. Kaja wanted to try a whole cookie.
Kylee is an old pro at eating cookies with milk. It's something her daddy's taught her. She can even keep her hair of her face at the same time.
We had a great time with our girls. Can't wair for the next one in February.

So fun, I remember all the good times we had with sleepovers. Wearing Pajamas at 4:00 pm and wearing Bill's old shirts
